New Book Study Beginning
The Faith Formation Board continues to host the Adult Forum on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm, and all are welcome!
Starting on April 28, the Faith Formation Board is reading essays out of Walter Bruggerman’s book Tenacious Solidarity: Biblical Provocations on Race, Religion, Climate, and the Economy. On April 28, we will read and discuss the final chapter of the book first; it connects well with our last book read by AJ Levine. If you haven’t gotten a copy of the book yet, you can access the chapter, “The Torah: Back to Basics, from Jesus to Moses” at this link. We will give an update in the April 30 Friday Announcements with the list of the other essays we’ll be reading during the month of May. Those interested in joining us are invited to suggest an essay they would like to read from the book and then facilitate on the evening we discuss it.
If you have comments or questions about the Adult Forum, please contact Tammi at tlaninga@gmail.com or Sharry at sharry@fccb.net.
