Remember Shopping for the First Day of School?
There is a certain excitement and anxiety with the opening of school for everyone. Multiply this if you are a family experiencing homelessness that includes a mom, two middle schoolers, and two high school students. This family is one of six families the First Congregational Church Family Promise Team is hoping to serve in August with gift cards that will help with school shopping. Please drop off gift cards to Ross, Burlington Coat Factory, or Target or donations at the backpacks as you enter church on Sunday, August 8, 15, and 22, use the Pantry Drive drive-through option or email Sharon Camblin at camblins@comcast.net.
