Our congregation is full of talented people and one of our members, Jean Waight, is holding a book presentation at Village Books for her memoir, The River Beyond the Dam: Shooting the Rapids of Progressive Christianity. The book was illustrated by member Emily Wagnitz. The event is June 22, 6:00-7:00 pm at Village Books. Yet another talented church member Linda Conroy will be providing live music with her duet partner. Jean says, "there will be a few slides of canoeing, and my talk will include some story bits that are not in the book."
