Zuanich Point Park
Zuanich Point Park has lots to offer. It is located on Squalicum Harbor in what is otherwise an industrial area. There is a lot to reflect on here with a meaningful memorial statue and an eight-foot-high anchor to honor fisherman lost at sea. In the link below, the author quotes one of our previous pastors, Donel McClellan, as saying at the dedication, “No words can evoke what the statue will evoke.”
One can contemplate the past, enjoy the present, and think about the future here. There are beautiful views all around and a large grassy area where one can often see people flying interesting kites, or you can fly your own! There are walkways, a children’s play area, marina, flowers, benches, picnic tables, and easy parking.

It is somewhat hard to find so a map helps.
