Church Council met twice in January. Here is a recap of business addressed.

We are a community of friends gathering for a meal, conversation, and sharing time together. We closed 2025 in November with a joint Holiday Meal with our Ground Floor friends—Wow everyone did step up and show up. Now the tradition of Being Community goes forward.

Here are some highlights from the November 25 Church Council meeting.

Many of you remember that we usually have a Village Books book sale in the church narthex during Advent. It is an excellent time to purchase gifts for family and friends and to check out some wonderful books.

Some of you may wonder, how do I know when I can reach members of our staff? It can definitely be confusing, with some of our team in school and others working multiple jobs.

All are welcome to join this book group as we continue a challenging discussion of Becoming a Good Relative: Calling White Settlers toward Truth, Healing, and Repair by Hilary Giovale, the author’s story of her own awakening awareness of her whiteness.
