  • The Church Council adopted a Call to Action from the Mission and Justice Board in the winter of 2021. Please celebrate Earth Day Friday, April 22 by considering how we can act spiritually, in justice and sustainability as a congregation.


  • The Monday Mission email was started to help members and friends of First Congregational Church connect to ways to serve. The Mission/Justice board would like to recognize the positive changes that are occurring as a result of your service to our larger community.


  • The Poor People’s Campaign is a National Call for Moral Revival, uniting people across Washington to challenge the evils of systemic racism, poverty, the war economy, ecological devastation and the nation’s distorted morality of religious nationalism.


  • One of the most impactful ways for allies* to combat the wave of anti-trans legislation sweeping the country is to show up in public to articulate our values, unequivocally affirming that trans and nonbinary people are beautiful, sacred, and loved.


  • First Congregational Church is a member of the statewide, ecumenical Faith Action Network promoting social justice and race equity. FAN made a tangible difference for our neighbors across Washington in this legislative session.
