Justice

  • We are called as a Just Peace church to stand with and advocate for all who experience injustice and violence: the sick, poor, elderly, homeless, neglected, exploited, marginalized, and discouraged. The Mission and Justice Board wants to thank all those who have served this past year even in the midst of a pandemic. You met our common call by sharing your time, talents, and funds.

  • A big thank you to all who have contributed to Gardenview Tiny Home Village. Your generosity is helping to improve the day to day lives of the residents there. Below is a wish list for those who would like to support this new community as they transition toward permanent housing.

  • If you missed the "A Home for All' Advent Conversation December 12, here is a summary of the ideas from those who attended.

  • First Congregational Church is joining with other churches to support the many flood victims in our county. The Mission/Justice board is holding a donation drive from December 5-12.
