As we move into fall with cooler weather and more indoor gatherings, your COVID Advisory Committee and Church Council continue to thoughtfully consider COVID-19 safety protocols. At its meeting Monday evening Council voted to:
Continue to require wearing masks for in-person Sunday worship.
Strongly recommend but not require masks for other church activities.
Allow singers to be unmasked during Sunday worship but they must test negative on Sunday morning.
Studies show that unmasked singers should stand at least 20’ from their audience and, if possible, space from each other for their safety.
As you know, an updated COVID-19 booster is now available as well as the annual influenza immunization. It is extremely important for everyone who is eligible to get these vaccines. Individual protection, the protection of family, friends and the community depends on as many as possible receiving these shots.
