Multigenerational Fun! Be Present for Christmas Presence!
Christmas Presence activities will be held in person following worship on December 4. Come and make a gingerbread house or design other gingerbread creations. (We will not be sending out supplies for making gingerbread houses at home this year.) There will also be a time to sing Christmas carols in Room 11 and to have a Christmas photo taken by our photographer. All ages are invited to join the fun!
Advent Pageant
The children will be practicing music for the pageant on Sunday, December 4 during Church School and on Saturday, December 10 at 10:30 am. Parents are asked to please try to have your children attend these rehearsals to prepare for the pageant.
The children and youth will present the Christmas pageant on Sunday, December 11 during the worship service. The service will include the story of birth of Jesus told in the voices of children, lots of music, and a message of hope in our own troubled times. Join us in person or online for this celebration of the third Sunday of Advent!
Advent Adult Forum
Everyone is welcome to join the Wednesday evening Adult Forum, whether or not you have participated before. During this season, the Adult Forum will participate in a special Advent series, listening to different voices speaking on the meaning of Advent. The themes for the upcoming weeks are: December 7: The Children Speak, December 14: Indigenous Voices Speak, and December 21: The Poet Speaks. There is no advance reading or preparation required to participate in any of these discussions. Contact the office for the Zoom link.
