The Faith Formation Board is hosting a six week Lenten book discussion on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm starting February 24. We will be reading Entering the Passion of Jesus: A Beginner’s Guide to Holy Week by Amy-Jill Levine (the same author we read during Advent). In her Lenten study, Levine explores the biblical texts surrounding the Passion story from the four gospel narratives of Holy Week, comparing and contrasting, and giving the context from the prophets and Hebrew scriptures. There are six chapters; we will read one chapter a week starting with Chapter 1 on February 24, and going through March 31. Books can be purchased through Village Books, or online and it is also available as an ebook.
For the first two Wednesdays in February, Adult Forum will continue exploring the book What Matters to You, Matters to Us by Sidney Fowler. We will be discussing Chapter 4 “We are One at Baptism and the Table (click here to access a copy of the chapter). The schedule is below:

- February 17 - Ash Wednesday - No Adult Forum. Watch for upcoming announcements from the pastors about an Ash Wednesday service.
