Church School in January
The first Sunday of each month as part of our church school rotation we worship together in community. Children are invited to sit near the communion table on the floor pillows and chairs (so they are able to see). Other adults and parents are invited to join us as together we experience the rituals of our faith worshiping together. Children in Preschool through Fifth Grade report to church school following “Time with Children” on the second – fourth (and when there is a fifth) Sunday of each month.
Our time begins with check-in prayers, as each week we connect and get to know each other. To insure safety, parents are asked to please pick up your children in the Preschool Room or Room 11 following worship. With our theme of BE the CHURCH: Love God we will focus on what it means to receive, show and share God’s love as we embody our faith, during the month of January.

January 19: God is Love
January 26: Church School Service Project - We will create Valentines to share God’s love with our homebound members and college youth. If you have a college youth or know someone who is homebound who would appreciate a Valentine please email their name and mailing address to sharry@fccb.net.
