Holiday Joy 2023

Holiday Joy Gift Giving

You can provide gifts for Holiday Joy, an in-person shopping experience for families dealing with financial challenges and homelessness. This year the combined efforts of Interfaith churches and community organizations will serve 71 families and a 156 challenges.

Pick up a gift tag or a gift certificate tag in the narthex and deliver your gift back to the narthex by December. You will have the opportunity to shop for children of all ages and/or donate gift certificates. A list of suggested gifts and gift certificate store will be on the blog. We are especially in need of gifts for 6-10 year old boys, so please look for those tags! Watch for the tags in the narthex starting November 19. Return gifts unwrapped on/before December 10. There will be a Mission/Justice Board member in the narthex each Sunday to receive the gift cards. Contact Brianna Milligan with questions.

Holiday Joy Store Elves

Help provide a shopping experience where parents/families experiencing homelessness can choose gifts for each of their children. We will need lots of elves to help set-up the store, wrap-gifts, and provide a play area for children to make cards for their families. Shopping days are December 14, 15, and 16 at First Congregational Church, and there are many different time slots and tasks available.
