It’s time again for the International Day of Peace! The Whatcom Peace and Justice Center, one of our valuable local partners helping us to better work on justice and peace issues in Whatcom County and beyond, is once again hosting a time of celebration, training, and of course, fundraising for their wonderful work. This year’s theme is Rad & Real: Turning Imagination into Action. There are two opportunities to participate: Sunday, September 19 at 3:00 pm, in-person at Maritime Heritage Park, AND Tuesday, September 21 at 6:00 pm via Zoom for community discussion and processing space. Our own James Loucky is being celebrated with this year’s Lifetime Peacemaker Award!
