SAVE the Date - May 22 will be a celebration of the work being done by the Whatcom Racial Equity Commission. Members of the Commission will be with us in and after-worship. There will opportunities for members to be involved. Watch for more information in Monday Mission and the announcements.

 

Bellingham Blessing for Totem Pole Journey May 3: Be present at the blessing of the totem created for the Spirit of the Waters journey from the Snake River to the Salish Sea. Held May 3 at 6:00 pm at the Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship the journey is to inspire the removal of Snake River dams and restore health to the Snake River.

Hurrah! A New Information Tool for Solid Waste Disposal: Having a hard time knowing how to keep items from your home automatically finding their way to a landfill? Whatcom County has just put a new tool online called Waste Wise. It can be accessed at the county’s website at whatcomcounty.us/wastewise. You will be able to search items and quickly determine how and where to donate, recycle or dispose of item.
