You can help put a meal kit together by bringing meal ingredients to worship on Sunday, August 21 or on Monday, August 21, at 3:00 pm in the kitchen. For a list of needed items, go online at this link or check the list in the narthex on Sunday to see what is needed and sign-up.
Just What is A Zero-Waste Share Fair?
The Zero-Waste Share Fair on September 17 in the church parking lot is an opportunity to expand our work as a congregation on climate justice by acting together to use a process of consuming that reuses and recycles treasures. You will be able to bring your treasures from 8:00–9:00 am and “shop” from 9:30 am-12:30 pm. Bring extra coffee mugs you aren’t using and grab a cup of coffee and a roll from 8:00–9:30 am. No money is necessary nor will be exchanged. Donations will be welcomed for the Birchwood Food Desert Fighters. This first time treasures will be limited to baby items, baby and children clothing, adult books, small kitchen items, art and design, and garden items including fall transplants.
