Exciting New Ministry for First Congregational Church - A Dental Van for Those Experiencing Homelessness: Thanks to the hard work of Bill Liddicoet we will have four sessions of a dental van to serve the youth of Northwest Youth Services and others experiencing homelessness over the next few months. Bill has worked with a similar program in Portland and brought together a partnership of NWYS, Medical Teams International, the BTC Dental program and volunteer dentists to provide collaborative dental care support. The Medical Teams International will bring a van with two fully equipped dental offices to the church parking lot starting on Monday, January 24. The Mission and Justice Board would also like to thank Scott Slaba and Linda Portwood for volunteering to serve on the Advisory Committee for this new and exciting ministry.

United Church of Christ & Voting Rights Work: The UCC has been doing voter rights work this year because it's a natural extension of the what we've already been doing as a community of practice: building relationships, supporting leaders of color and acting collectively. This video covers more on our "why" AND those of our neighbors!
