The Neighbors in Need offering is coming up soon, and we wanted to highlight a story from one of last year’s recipients of a NIN grant: Peace Congregational United Church of Christ in South Carolina.
Congregation members and the Clemson University community are working side-by-side in the design and construction of a tiny house, as a refuge for someone in the LGBTQ community who is no longer welcome at home. This $20,000 project received half its funding from a Justice & Witness NIN grant, and will be ready to open its doors in January 2022.
