Summer Bible Study, Tuesdays 9:00-10:00 am: Gather with one of the pastors on Tuesday mornings to read through the upcoming Sunday's scripture passage, discuss some of its historical context, and connect it with our lives today. Contact Pastor Sharon Benton at sharon@fccb.net.
Coffee Hour, biweekly on Fridays 1:00 pm: A time for staying connected, chat, and catch up with others in our community every couple of weeks on Fridays at 1:00 pm. The next meeting will be Friday, July 17. For information to join contact office@fccb.net.
Evening Book Club, beginning Thursday, July 23 at 6:30 pm: Kick off meeting on (you guessed it!) Zoom. Our first book is Margaret Wheatley’s Who Do We Choose To Be? Facing Reality, Claiming Leadership, Restoring Sanity. We will be deciding future books as a group as well as scheduling our upcoming meetings. Contact office@fccb.net for details and to sign up.
Creative Poetry Writing Groups, two day/time options: We will write to prompts and share (if you want to). We will also be prompted to write a poem for optional "homework" to bring to the next meeting. There are two different days of the week and times to participate: first and third Mondays at 7:00 pm beginning July 20 or second and fourth Thursdays at 1:00 pm beginning July 23.
