Community to Community is inviting you to make one, 10, or 100 origami butterflies to join with others to recognize the rights of immigrants on August 6. Butterflies have been chosen In the tradition of the 10,000 origami cranes in remembrance of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
You can make them anytime between now and August 1. Use your own paper or pick up paper in the church office. Completed butterflies can be dropped off in a box outside of the office or on Sunday mornings July 24 and 31. Watch the video below for instructions on folding an origami butterfly.
