PNC-UCC 2024 Men's Retreat

Evolving Masculinities: Inter-Generational Perspectives & Conversations

The PNC-UCC is planning another in-person Conference Men's Retreat this year. We'll meet at Pilgrim Firs the weekend of February 2-4, 2024. Reverend Dan Stern will lead this year’s retreat. Use this link to register: http://www.ultracamp.com/info/sessiondetail.aspx?idCamp=367&campCode=nss&idSession=445242

Retreat participants will explore these issues:

How do men (persons socialized/identifying as male) of varying generations view ‘manhood’?

What are some of the things each generation can contribute to the whole of ‘mankind’?

Can men of faith/spirituality make a unique contribution?

Please join us as we hear insights and discuss our changing roles and experiences in a safe and welcoming environment. Dan will share recorded interviews with men of various generations to spark our conversations. We welcome ALL to join us and share your views, insights and experiences.

As always, the retreat begins on Friday evening and runs through Sunday morning. Additionally, there is an optional one-day silent retreat that begins Thursday evening, February 1.

The committee explored adding a Zoom option for remote attendance but that’s not yet feasible. We understand the risk of illness is ever present. Please don’t attend if you are uncomfortable with the risk. Feel free to wear a mask to lessen your exposure.
