PNCUCC Men's Retreat

Greetings,

We are planning an in-person Men's Retreat this year. We'll meet at Pilgrim Firs the weekend of February 3-5. The topic is “Gratitude and Practices to Enhance Gratefulness”. In the spirit of a back-to-normal retreat, there will be music, singing, a wisdom circle and an optional silent retreat Thursday evening (February 2) to begin the weekend.

We were disappointed to have to cancel last year's in-person retreat. We had hoped to follow up the success of the prior year's remote retreat and maintain our ties and our bonds. Unfortunately, it's been a difficult few years and now normal isn't exactly what it used to be.

We've all lived into this new-normal and have our own levels of risk tolerance. Vaccines have reduced but have not eliminated the chance of illness or on-going symptoms. Please don’t attend if you are uncomfortable with the risk. Unfortunately, Pilgrim Firs has poor Wi-Fi connectivity so we are not able to offer a remote video option.

Of course, our retreat must comply with state, local and conference center guidelines. We'll provide more details as we get closer to the date. We hope for safe travels and look forward to a fun and meaningful retreat. In the meantime, enjoy the upcoming holidays!
