Project Homeless Connect, a community-wide one-day event providing services to people experiencing homelessness, is coming Friday, July 19, 9am-4pm at Bellingham High School. There are a number of ways you can help with this effort. In addition to donating goods, you can volunteer for event preparation, or for the event itself. Below is a list of needed items:
Underwear: Orlon or Nylon
Boots and Tennis Shoes
Socks
Hygiene Items: (Toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, soap, mouthwash, handwipes, towelettes, no-rinse shampoo, tampons, and pads)
T-Shirts (long and short sleeve)
Re-usable water bottles
Backpacks
Sleeping Bags
Tents
Body Wallets
Small First Aid Kits
Waterproof bags: waterproof pack covers (large)
Flashlights, batteries
Small First Aid Kids
Space Blankets (retaining body heat)
Incontinence briefs
Hats
Gloves
Blankets
Also needed are vouchers for use at local laundromats.

Find the position you are interested in registering for and click “view details.” Click “respond” to register yourself or if you’d like to sign up a group, click “respond as a team.” Click either “sign up” or “log in” if you already have a volunteer center account.
