These community meals are a combined ministry of First Congregational Church and Garden Street UMC. No reservations necessary. Come and enjoy conversation with friends. The church doors will open wide at 5:00 and the meal will be served 5:30-6:15 pm.
This month we are giving a nod to our friends south of the border. A robust Three-Bean Chili and a walk on the wild side with Posole, a corn hominy and bean stew. Served with buttermilk cornbread. This meal is gluten and meat free. Recipes will be posted.
Meals are planned, cooked, and served by volunteers. You are most welcome to join the supper team--we will make room for your talents. Please let Buzz Durham know if you would like to volunteer.
