Special offering Sunday, December 22 - Christmas Fund for Veterans of the Cross
For over one hundred years, The Christmas Fund has provided direct financial assistance to United Church of Christ ministers, church workers, and their families. Last year, First Congregational Church joined over 1,800 congregations in this special offering that has benefited members of our congregation. Funds provide financial support including emergency grants, supplementation of small annuities and health premiums, and Christmas “Thank You” gift checks each December to our lower-income retirees. Receiving The Christmas Fund this year ensures those who have served receive the loving support of the Church in their moment of deepest need.
