Our society often shouts the joys of grandparenting, but we know that it also sometimes comes with unexpected concerns or even heartache. They live at a physical distance from us, our children are emotionally distant from us, a divorce or separation creates worries, we don't know how to navigate religious and social change. Often we don't realize there are others experiencing similar challenges as we are. This morning will help us share our stories among other caring grandparents.
