The Multi-Faith Network for Climate Justice' Sacred Earth Fair is fast approaching. As you know, it will be on the grounds at the Center for Spiritual Living, 2224 Yew Street Road, on Sunday July 31 from 1-5 pm. The fair’s vision is informed by Chief Seattle’s inspiring words: “…the earth does not belong to man; man belongs to the earth. Man did not weave the web of life; he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.”
The Church Council adopted a Call to Action from the Mission and Justice Board in the winter of 2021. Please celebrate Earth Day Friday, April 22 by considering how we can act spiritually, in justice and sustainability as a congregation.
