We've received many inquiries about the AARP Tax Aide service we have hosted in our building in the past. Just as last year was disrupted by the pandemic, this year will also be. Our building, for safety sake, remains closed. The Tax Aide folks have been looking for solutions and we have some information for those seeking help. Here is the information we can share, received from the Whatcom Council on Aging.
2021 Tax Season Help is Available
While the AARP Tax Aide is not available in person other local organizations are offering no contact and virtual tax preparation services at no cost to Whatcom County residents who make up to $66,000 per year.
