Thank You, First Congregational Church!
Sharon Camblin asked in worship last week for your support. On Thursday, WFCIS volunteers served over thirty families with preliminary donations, many from First Congregational Church. The families ranged from a high school student who was trying to find support for themselves and a sibling, to a grandmother who was seeking help for her daughters-in-law, one of whom has a toddler and is expecting a little girl. The pantry is now depleted, and we need your help in asking for donations. WFCIS desperately needs donations of rice, beans, tortillas, and diapers sizes 5, 6, and 7 for next week’s deliveries. Any additional staples are also welcome. Please drop off donations at 495 E. Bakerview Road, the Interfaith Offices at First Christian Church between 10:00 am-12:00 noon on Monday.
