First Congregational Joins Faith Action Network’s 100% Voting Communities Effort
Many faith traditions highlight the importance of voting in preserving community well-being and the common good in democracy. The Network of 100% Voting Faith Communities from the Faith Action Network will be a community space to share ideas, tools, and peer support as we collectively build civically engaged multi-faith communities. FAN wants to make sure those in the network are registered, voting, and communicating our mission and values with their elected leaders and candidates. FAN is encouraging faith communities to commit collectively to becoming a 100% Voting community. The Mission and Justice Board will be leading this effort and there will be lots of opportunities for volunteering and collaboration with community groups.
