TINY HOMES FOR PEOPLE 55+ EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS
First Congregational Church has been invited, along with other churches, to provide meals for the approximately 35-40 people who will be living in the Tiny Homes just off Lakeway. The project is opening on October 18. The Mission/Justice Board and Fresh Start are gearing up to be part of the support effort with hot meals and personal items as individuals move in. Please contact Sharon Camblin or Carol Garguile if you could help with this effort. The meals will initially be purchased in partnership with local restaurants. Once our kitchen is open, we are hoping to be able to do the cooking ourselves! If you would like to help coordinate the deliver of a meal at least once a month or have items to donate, let us know!!
