Anti-Racism Workshops: Undoing Racism – Unpacking Privilege
First Congregational Church is sponsoring three all-day, intensive workshops on March 9, April 13, and May 11 yet to be determined. The workshops are designed to create a space for often charged conversations about eliminating racism. Tara Villaba, a member of First Congregational Church, and a team of facilitators will lead the workshops that include a mix of short, multi-media presentations, small group story-telling, individual reflection, and group discussions. Each workshop will focus on the racism experiences of a different group of people, Black, Indigenous and immigrant. There will be a small fee that will be donated to a non-profit group working to eliminate racism. We hope to have participants from across the county.
