Make Our Congregation is a 100% Voting Community
As we work to make our congregation a 100% voting community, you can take the lead or lend a hand! There are several possible options for you to help plan and organize:
Develop a plan to make sure every eligible member in a faith community is registered to vote.
Share the Faith Action Newtork's (FAN) resources in community newsletters, bulletin inserts, educational gatherings.
Promote the sacred privilege of voting through a time of worship or prayer
Learn about candidates by meeting them and attending or hosting candidate forums.
Participate in community-wide efforts to register people and get people to vote.
Share information on the security and fairness of the election system in Washington State.
This effort will be ongoing through election day. If you'd like to be involved in this work, contact the Mission/Justice Board's Ministry Area Coordinator (MAC) Sharon Camblin for more information.
