  • Our congregation is full of talented people and one of our members, Jean Waight, is holding a book presentation at Village Books for her memoir The River Beyond the Dam: Shooting the Rapids of Progressive Christianity. The event is June 22, 6:00-7:00 pm at Village Books.


  • The Faith Formation Board of First Congregational Church of Bellingham maintains a small special interest library in the church. The collection focuses on books about the bible, Christian history, theology, and social action.


  • You are cordially invited to Ferndale Community Services’ spring fundraiser, “An Afternoon of Piano.” The event will be held on June 24th from 4pm-5:30pm at Christ Lutheran Church in Ferndale. This event features award-winning classical pianist Paige Wiesinger.  Currently a student at Western Washington University, Paige is studying with Jeffrey Gilliam and working towards her B.M. in piano performance.


  • First Congregational Church is preparing to help host a group of young people from Saugatuck UCC in Westport, CT.  We’re excited to help support about two dozen high school youth and chaperones while they work in Whatcom County on flood relief projects, and learn more about our region!  They will be in town from June 25- June 30.


  • Brokedown Palace Sale Paused! Good news! The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) just announced that they're pausing the Brokedown Palace Timber Sale for a second time.


  • Bellingham's first Wear Orange event, organized by the Committee for Gun Responsibility at First Congregational Church, was a success! In case you missed it, here is video of the speakers.
