Your First Congregational Church Stephen Ministry Leadership Team would like to invite you to consider becoming a Stephen Minister for our Congregation. We hope to begin a new training class in October. It is approximately an eight-week course, meeting weekly at the church and concluding with Commissioning into the Stephen Ministry Team.
Thursday, August 17 we begin an ongoing Grandparents Support Group. Join us in the Fireplace Room from 10:30 am-12:00 noon. After this beginning, we plan to continue on the second Thursdays of each month.
Pastor Rev. Davi Weasley is on a three-month sabbatical from August 1-October 31, 2023. During this time, they will renew their call and their role by taking time apart. While Davi is gone, we welcome Rev. L. Page as Sabbatical Pastor.
It’s a wrap! It was a great week at Creation Care camp! 24 kids participated, up from 16 last year! Thanks to the children who participated, to the parents and grandparents who brought them, and to the volunteers and staff who made it happen.
Fresh Start has been in existence since 2014. What is it? It is a project started by Pilgrim Circle and requested by Interfaith Coalition. We help families that are moving from temporary houses to permanent housing.
