The Called to Care Ministry recognizes that conversation about the dignity of a meaningful death and dying process is important for our faith community. We also acknowledge this weekend is not the right timing because many of our emotions are raw at the suddenness of Bobbi Virta’s death. 

Many of us were shocked, this week, by news of the Rev. Bobbi Virta’s death. Like many of you, Bobbi has been a colleague, a friend, and an inspiration to us for all our years of ministry here in Bellingham, and we know her loss will echo deeply in the coming months and years

A message from Pastor Davi about Annual Meeting!

The Faith Formation Board is pleased to announce the 2023 All Church Read. Our chosen book is Speak with the Earth and It will Teach You by Daniel Cooperrider. It is an analysis of the Bible’s treatment of nature. It is a timely work on the gift of the Earth that makes a strong case for environmental conservation as a cornerstone of religious life.
