  • In the book of Esther, Mordechai persuades Esther to take a moral stand that required great courage and considerable risk. He said to her, “For if you keep silence at such a time as this, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another quarter, but you and your father's family will perish. Who knows?   • We are planning an in-person Men's Retreat this year. We'll meet at Pilgrim Firs the weekend of February 3-5. The topic is “Gratitude and Practices to Enhance Gratefulness”. In the spirit of a back-to-normal retreat, there will be music, singing, a wisdom circle and an optional silent retreat Thursday evening (February 2) to begin the weekend.

The national, nonpartisan Election Protection coalition of which the United Church of Christ is a member, was formed to ensure that all voters have an equal opportunity to participate in the political process.

  • A “Climate Revival” is coming to Bellingham on Saturday, November 5, as First Congregational Church of Bellingham, United Church of Christ (UCC), hosts a seminar focused on what is being done locally to address climate change and what actions communities can take.
