  • The Ministry Area Coordinators (MACs) are sponsoring an opportunity for you to meet new members or connect with familiar members over food. This ministry was previously known as “Dining in Faith.”  This is a one-time event –no commitment beyond the single evening. 


  • The Church Council adopted a Call to Action from the Mission and Justice Board in the winter of 2021. Please celebrate Earth Day Friday, April 22 by considering how we can act spiritually, in justice and sustainability as a congregation.


  • We’re excited to share a little about Rev. Phiwa Langeni. The search committee, Personnel, and Church Council selected this candidate to be our visiting pastor during Sharon’s sabbatical because of their many gifts including their ability to support our visioning this year. They’ll start their tenure on Sunday, May 8.


  • The Monday Mission email was started to help members and friends of First Congregational Church connect to ways to serve. The Mission/Justice board would like to recognize the positive changes that are occurring as a result of your service to our larger community.


  • The Poor People’s Campaign is a National Call for Moral Revival, uniting people across Washington to challenge the evils of systemic racism, poverty, the war economy, ecological devastation and the nation’s distorted morality of religious nationalism.
