First Congregational Church has recently reactivated its membership with the Multifaith Network on Climate Justice. As a member of this local group, you are cordially invited to attend the Interfaith Blessing Ceremony of the Lummi Totem Pole Journey, Red Road to DC on May 24, 2:00-6:30 p.m. 

Pentecost is my favorite festival of the Christian calendar. I can relate to being part of a post-resurrection, uncertain, afraid, and mourning people gathering together to try and figure out what’s next. I’ve been part of those groups before. And, I’ve had the honor of being present when there is a palpable shift in the room, and a new idea is born, or the calling of the Spirit catches fire or hope takes root like a thunderbolt.

One of our friends at Sea Mar invited us to share this volunteer opportunity with our community. They are looking for individuals to provide logistical support for mobile medical clinics for agricultural workers and other underserved people this summer.
