  • The Faith Formation Board, in collaboration with the Mission & Justice Board, has selected Climate Church, Climate World by Jim Antal, a UCC pastor, as the All Church Read for 2022.


  • Dear Church, We had a bit of a surprise at the church building on Monday morning.  When Kurt, our stalwart Custodian/Maintenance staff person, showed up for work, there was some damage to one of our windows.  It seems that at some point during the night or early in the morning of Monday, someone threw a brick through one of our windows. 


  • Family Promise is hosting an Open House at the Learning Center, March 1st, inviting interested families to come visit the space, meet volunteers, and learn about the tutoring program in an informal setting. To optimize the opportunity for parents to ask questions and talk with volunteers (aka, keeping kids busy!), we are planning a welcome area with welcome baskets filled with kid-friendly activities they can enjoy during their visit and take home.


  • Choose one small thing today that will benefit the world we are called to care for. This is a starting list from the CAN (Climate Action Now) conversation on January 30.


  • In living, worshiping, and being a church within the context of a historical year – a year, really, that feels Biblical in its proportion – we wonder how historians (in fact, how our children and grandchildren) will reflect on 2021. What names might they use, what words might they choose to describe it?
